 Jerry R. Poer - School President

 

Jerry R. Poer is the owner of Pivot-Point Member School, Charleston Cosmetology Institute in Charleston, SC. Besides owning, operating, and teaching in a highly successful and nationally acclaimed school, he also works in his own salon!

A platform artist, lecturer, consultant and educator, Jerry has been featured in national publications such as Modern Salon, American Salon, Passion and Men's Passion.

In January 2001, Jerry was inducted into the National Cosmetology Association's Board of Directors Hall of Renown. This award acknowledges Jerry's many years of contributions and dedication to the cosmetology industry. A recipient of many awards and other honors, Jerry has served as President of the National Cosmetology Association of South Carolina and Styles Director of the South Carolina Fashion and Education Committee. He has been awarded Charleston Cosmetologist of the Year and South Carolina Cosmetologist of the Year.
