Admission Requirements

Admission to Charleston Cosmetology Institute is open to all without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, creed, origin, sexual orientation, disability or marital status.

Individuals wishing to enroll must fulfill the following requirements:

COSMETOLOGY, MANUCURING/NAIL TECHNOLOGY, & ESTHETICS

• Must be sixteen (16) years of age as required by the South Carolina State Board of Cosmetology.

• Must furnish proof of High School Diploma or GED certificate, or proof of completion of 10th grade.

• Must schedule an interview with the administrator.

• Must complete an official enrollment application.

Day Cosmetology and Nail Technology classes begin six times a year:

• January, March, May, July, September, and November

Evening Cosmetology classes begin five times a year:

• January, April, June, August, and October

Day Esthetics Classes begin three times per year:

• March, July, and November.

Evening Esthetics Classes begin three times per year:

• January, April, and October.
